AIS Guilin Trip

The students of the Academy of International Studies at Carrboro High School in North Carolina invite you to follow their adventures as they visit Kui Guang High School in Guilin, China.

Our bags are packed, we're ready to go.




Inside my suitcase is a note from Mr. Batten, and a token of our appreciation for the hospitality being extended to us by GMS.

We are truly appreciative of the way GMS arranged for our travel to Suzhou, Nanjing, and Hangzhou while we wait for entry to Guilin. (Due to the Swine Flu pandemic the city of Guilin requires that foreign visitors must stay 6 days outside of the city before they are allowed to enter.)

We will see our friends in Guilin on June 22nd, and look forward to our time with you.
Parents, teachers and friends-follow our journey.
The adventure starts tomorrow.

    Glad you got there safely. Tom and TJ; I am thinking about you a lot. Charlie looks out the window and wonders where you are (I suspect these thoughts). Thank you Judy for the wonderful experience my two guys get to have. Have fun.
